With her back coming, everything were more exciting. From the love between Stefan, to the making of "new" blood sucking Caroline. Its getting great.

This is rather the second best series after Prison Break that I have ever watched. Especially with the scene where Katherine appears!

Comparing Elena and Katherine, I like Katherine more. With her partially curled nice blonde hair, and the confident speech of her, things were prefect. She has more confident than Elena who's always weak in things. Words spilling out of Katherine's golden mouth is much more stretching and blood pressure rising than those of Elena!

Movie Review - Book of Eli

Just to catch up, I watched this movie early march.

Its about day after some kinda big splash of light where all the flora couldn't survive. The world become real bad and there's no food available cos goats cant have grass and human cant have goats. So people tends to eat human's flesh.

There's small village, where someone is controlling the site. Aims to get a bible from a person named Eli. Eli got this bible from underneath a collapse structure by following its instinct. He was told by some instinct to bring the book to the west of the nation. He cant afford a car or something, so he walks. Oh yea, before this, Bibles was being destroyed all over the world to stop the spreadings. With this, the people wants the bible a lot. They can shoot and fight for it. They fight all the way, then at last, the book didnt reached the west, but Eli has memorized all of it and the person collecting the books were happy about that, and finally, the book was there...by Eli spelling all the contents out, maybe thats why its called "Book of Eli" and not the Bible...hehe..just wild guess..no offence~

Overall I'll give 6 out of 10 too.

Movie Review - 72 Tenants

Its a CNY movie...not bad..lots of celebs in it...not their joke not that funny...

Jacky Cheung, Eric, and so on were great in the movie. But the wierd thing is, I watch it after CNY, so it might be little wierd but happy at last cos I am heated up with the CNY song.

The movie took scene at a place I went...quite nice, but wouldn't be that clean like in the movie..haha... I went HK last few months, and there were cases of spilling of Acid compounds to the floor as in the movie too. Luckily am at that place a night earlier. Or else, you might see me in TVs...haha...However, the movie seems to be encouraging people to do that. Haha..just my personal opinion, no offence Eric.

Overall i'll give 6 over 10 marks.

A good Deed on the 10th day of CNY

Blood donation on the 10th day of Chinese New Year is the most meaningful deed I had ever did. Wuhuu....

Series Review-Gossip Girl Season 2.

I find Serene would be what am thinking all the way through. At first, My preception towards her is like, wow..she's good, pretty, eligant, so on so forth.
But in the Season 2 episode 21, Serena was dating with a guy named Gabriel, husband or boyfiend of her own friend in the Spain trip.
For me, wow...thats like a too fast. They just know for a very short time and they get together while the friend quarrelled with the husband or boyfriend.
For me, she seems to be a sluts or bitch. I understand that in Gossip Girl, they all change partner as if they change clothes.
At first, N with B, then N with J, then with V and continue with B back.
Next, S with D, then broke up, then with D again, then again with G after the Spain trip.
Then B, she seems to sleepover almost most of the places. First, Chuck, then Jack, then C's competitor then N.
Its just the revolving about sleep out and the most importantly, THEY ARE STILL IN THE HIGH SCHOOL!!!!

Hey out there...listening to this song, makes me getting more and more disgust dislike to Namewee more.

In this kinda season, its Chinese New Year we're hoping for! But that guy, he just came in when people is singing Chinese New Year song. Its okay if he joins, but he just go and bang and scold those dirty words in the music video. In chinese tradition, its not good to put those dirty words out around during this period of time and yet, it happends. Not to say am religious or what, this is the new year man...why don't you dig a hole and jump in a coffin and ask someone to burry you around the graveyard for 24 hours during the first day of the Chinese New Year. I bet you might not want too...

Lots of people likes Chinese New Year cos of the merrier situation, the gathering of families, the gamble, the chit chat session, the catching up after not meeting for one year or more. This is the only time to meet up with some long lost contact cousins.

In my university, we hope to hear even Chinese New Year song but its hard to find even 1. And it is really proven that this Chinese New Year song can really makes people going into a positive mood. With a positive mood, people gets happier, do things in smoother progress and what else? FOOD!!!

But anyway, the chorus part is great! Good creativity in music.

Hey all, whats money?

As from an author in reader digest, money can be a bunch of dirt. Example, you get 2500 indonesia dollar by using 1 ringgit Malaysia. What to say USD or pound?

Money can be good, it can also be the evil. Depends on how we treat them.
As from the previous post, having a ceremony at home can be real sweet and that kinda happiness and bless from each and every of the cousins,relatives are something that money cant buy. Why is that so? Maybe you'll understand when I crap further...

Disadvantage of money!
Rich people tends to lean towards the evil side. Take for example the recent case, Tiger Woods, he's too rich until he can do something that is offending the wife secretly (10,000pound per night).
Next example, Britney, She's too rich until she can afford drugs for his personal enjoyment.
Lots more out there. But why? Don't we know that these things are actually ruin ourselves. They're the celebrities and I think they should be clearer than us that their image is the most important and its their big source of income. I think they are well aware that they are the idol of millions out there and they shouldn't do this and that but why are they still doing it?

Advanage of money!
Of course, if you ask who don't want money, surely no one will raise up. But why do we need so much while we already had? Money of course is for people to spend on things they wanted. How about the poor people that really needs money? And how many actually use the portion for charity? They said by their mouth, but at last keep the money in their own pocket until MACC has to ask questions to them.

All and all, Earn more money and invest it in anyway you want is the best way. First, it can assist in the economics growth of the country. Second, it can be use as a capital to grow more money. With that, when a person retire, he/she can just wait for the money to grow in their bank, and has a handful in hand everymonths. Why not right?

Yea...good news today. Open up Facebook after class, saw pictures of my secondary school athelete friend getting married.

Congratulations James & Winne!!

Seeing them having some simple ceremony at home, seems to be sweet. Sometimes when think backwards, not all rich people can enjoy happiness by a marriage actually. Take some examples around you. Money can be useful but in other terms, poor people can also be sweet and thats the thing that you cant buy with whatever amount of money.

Lets talk more about money in the next post.

Final Year Design Project

WTH!!!! Listening to this kinda song through the radio broadcast and now am doing Final Year Design Project in my room??!! Am I NUTS???

Reading Chemical Process Equipment, by Stanley, Finally I realized, doing Instrumentation and Control isn't easy if you do not have enough basic knowledge!! This also mean you'll need to start all over again and again from the begining and do it as if your're the professionals!!

One & a half months left before the presentation, what we can produce? Even experienced engineer need 3-5 years to product a plant but Chemical Engineer in UTP real good, cos we can produce 1 in less than a year time. Not to say the time for presentation.

FYDP 1, Presentation starts at 2.30pm, we get our job done and report printed exactlly 2.29pm. What a legendary...

This Semester we'll see! Its ok March!!

Last year, she's there, on the 14 February 2009, I waved at her, she too waved at me...and say GOOD BYE!

She headed to Brunei for Sushi, I headed into Miri city for my gurl...

I never know that this BYE could mean that much for me.

I still remember that morning, we met accidentally at the main bus station, I was from Bintulu with another female friend who is going to Brunei for Sushi with them too. I never know I will meet her there. When she's here to fetch my friend, the window of that PAJERO was tinted. I cant really see her face. From the window, I can see her hand waving at my saying Bye! A very cute gurl with her chick pink. The first gurl I found in my life having pink face all around the year. She was with her boy friend in the car and another friend drivivng the PAJERO.

Just a few seconds seeing her, they depart to Brunei.

At first its a one day trip, now, its forever.

She left our world that night, in an car accident. During Valentine night, beside the boyfriend. Real sad.

Lots of our friend posted missing her in FB. Even now still.

Its almost one year back. This year, Its CNY and Valentine together. Some friends even feel sad when thinking of what happened a year ago. How are her families going to celebrate CNY and Valentine this year?

How could the boyfriend celebrate CNY and Valentine?

I hope this kinda stuff will not happened to my friends around again. Its painful to the one you love and the one love you.

Phuket Island - Day THREE - 3rd December - Island Trip

Island trip arranged earlier with the tour agent which cost 200baht per person inclusive the tour to Maya Bay, Phi-Phi Ley and Phi-Phi Don of Phi-Phi Island, and a trip to Khai Island.

The journey starts at 0730hours local time picking up by a free minivan prepared by the travel agent at Patong Cottage Resort, our hotel. The journey took around one hour to reach the habour near Phuket Town. During this one hour, we manage to tour around Patong Beach and other parts of Phuket while the driver is fetching the other passenger for the same trip.

Arriving at the habour at 0830hours, we were told to rent the flippers or fins for us to swim more efficiently with onlt 200baht per pair. Actually, this fin does no necessary. During the whole trip, fins are lessly being used.

0900hours, we boarded a speed boat and our journey to the island begins.

First island, Khai Island. Its no bigger than a football court. Has great view on the sea and mountain on the other side. Fishes are lots to be seen in the water. Lots of travellers walking around, sunbathing, swimming, and snorkelling. Its a really nice place to relax.

After an hour playing around on Khai Island, we boarded the speed boat again heading out to Phi-Phi Ley Island of Phi-Phi Island. This island, Maya Bay is the best of all. If you watched "The Beach" by Leonardo Dicarpio, then you will know why this beach is fabulous. The trip on Maya Bay was Fantastic. Its a bay for all tourist and its a must go place. The sand are really like crystal and what to say the sea water. Its crystal clear. However, no fishes was found and its probably due to the water temperature. The water here is colder compared to Khai Island. Its really a human heaven here.

After about an hour, we boarded the boat again and head out to some bay. This time, we did not jump down as this bay has no beach. Its unique with its three layer of water colour. They have Dark Green, Green and light Green. Really nice colour. Most travel agent will bring them here and drive the boat around for pictures only.

After the trip, we then focus on some caves just above the sea. This caves has its own history. According to the tour guide, these caves were once the popular hiding point for the trading ship in the ancient age. Lots of craving of ancient life are in the caves. Its now used to grow bird's nest and its forbidden for visitors.

This trip is then followed by a buffet lunch. Its on shore of Phi-Phi Island. This part of Phi-Phi Island are actually being washed off by Tsunami during December 2004. Few thousands of human life sacrified here and they are still in the process of rebuilding the building and structure. Its the worst disaster happended on Phi-Phi Island before.

After lunch, we proceed with a little snorkelling and heading back once it started to rain. The journey back was a dangerous one as the sea started to be really rough and lots of people on our boat were wet due to the rain and the sparking sea water on the boat. Its really a dangerous one. But at the same time, we also manage to catch some view on the rainbow forming few hundred meters away from us. Its the most pretty rainbow I have ever seen connected to the surface of the sea.

At last, we reach the shore of Phuket Island and heading back to another hotel - Aloha Villa.

Aloha villa is the most expensive and most worthless hotel I have ever stayed in Phuket Island or specificly Patong Beach. Although the facility are good, swimming pool are nice, but the room was really bad. No keetle, no bath tub. The room isn't that clean too.

At night, we manage to visit the most popular tourist spot, Bangla Road. Its a night life or clubbing spot for all tourist and the locals. The whole road are for vehicles during the day but at night, its only for legs. Lots of "Ping-Pong Show", "Tiger Show" and other show on during the night. It only cost you 400baht to get a drink and enjoy the show free. Lots of people taking photos with those Shemale or so called "Ah Gua" is mandarin dialet.

Phuket Island - Day TWO - 2nd December 2009 - Town Trip

Day 2, we woke up early in the morning to enjoy the breeze uphill. After a few breath of the breeze, we get ourselves changed and jump into the real romantic seaview swimming pool and followed by the breakfast.

After wash and change, we proceed to catch the free shuttle bus to Patong beach. Actually, its a modified pick-up truck. After reaching the beach, we manage to catch an inter-city bus. The bus is blue in colour and it takes us 25baht per person to go to Phuket Town from Patong beach. This time, its a real bus rather than a pick-up truck.

Tut - Tut Car in Phuket Island

At the town, we stop and shop at Central Festival Market (most west shopping complex in Phuket Town). Bought some souvenirs. Then we walk around the town by foot. Of course, the town is big and we only manage to use an hour to explore part of it. There are temples with chinese words on it(but the people inside speaks Thai). We walk around by just depending on the map we got from the airport. However, please do not trust the map cos it will get you into confusion and more trouble. This is not the fault of the map, its because the town area are too crowded and its hard to draw everything on a map. Even in Patong beach, maps are useless. It will only briefly show you the direction but not the actual every single shop. If you were to find a hotel on the map, you will only find some. Only high class hotel and popular shop will be shown. We faced some difficulties while we walk around in town. At last, we managed to get to the local beaches transfer bus station. This time, we're facing problem again. Its actually not a bus station. Its just some parking area in front of a few rows of shops beside the road. No wonder we couldn't get it right on the map.

After reaching back to Juncylon, we then walk around at some sort of market where there are clothes, shoes, to be sold. Its like Malaysian "Chi Chong Gai" but in Phuket, the name it BanZaan Market. You should bargain to get a really low price and usually, they will hand you the calculator and you press the price instead of them giving you a discount. A great way to do business huh??...

A very special kind of cloth they called it "Thai Silk" here. Its a kind of Sarong with various color. Its smooth and great.

After the short bargain and shopping, we go to the some sort of night market. Its near Juncylon, the Thai Boxing Venue, and the BanZaan Market just now. In this night market, the food recommemded here are "Pha Tai" which only cost 40baht and a so called "Thai Spegetti" cost only 30baht. "Pha Tai" is a kind of "Kue Tiaw Goreng" in Malaysia but it taste real good and different compared to the one found in Malaysia. While the "Thai Speg" as mentioned by the hawker, its some sort of "meehoon rendang" or "laksa" in Malaysia but it taste really nice.

Phuket Island - Day ONE - 1st December 2009 - The Arrival

Phuket, I would pronounce it as heaven for all human being is the best place I have ever been in my life.

I went there by AirAsia and it is supposed to depart at 1245hours and reach at 1300hours. But it delay until 1445hours and reach at 1500hours. This causes me to lost some precious time waiting at the airport.

After reaching there at 1500hours local time, we went straight to the travel agent for some tour arragement and hotel purchase. After the arrangement, we boarded a minivan to our first hotel with a price of 150baht.

Patong Cottage Resort

First night, Patong Cottage Resort, a great resort, the front desk receptionist were really friendly although they speaks broken english but its understandable. After checking in, they bring us to tour around the hotel area. The the environment are really nice. Its up on the hill and the swimming pool was fabulous. We can see the whole Patong beach and even Cruises berthed outside the beach. However, location is a great problem. We need to walk for more than half an hour to reach the nearest shopping complex, Jungcylon. But then while you walk, or boarded a tut-tut, you can see lots of their culture like a small mini gasoline pump with a Shell symbol, pubs, massage centers and so on.

Due to the flight delay and the rain, we only manage to walk around Juncylon for the first night.

Edgeless pool of Patong Cottage Resort

Yes! I just bought a Netbook not long ago. Its Toshiba NB200.

Netbook 200 is a Toshiba Brand mini laptop.

It is used mainly for internet and typing or working purposes only.
If you would like to play some games or something that you need high speed and high graphic interface then it will not suit you.

From my experience using my NetBook, here are some disadvantages and advantages I found:

Advantages
Small and easy to bring around
Its suitable for traveler like me since I travel a lot. Its really low in weight and you can just use it anywhere you want. I used once in LCCT and KLIA both while waiting for my flights and trains. Both are really easy and perfect.
When you bring around, people would not notice that you are bringing a laptop with you. The greatest experience is, just the minutes after coming out from the computer shop where I purchased my Netbook, I am really happy as no one knows that I am purchasing one. Its all in a plastic bag, and I seems just coming out from a computer shop for accessories only, not a laptop. As a student, it might be an advantage for us as we might need to bring it to class, library, or even meetings in cafe.

2. Battery life are good. I used it for movie, it last around 2 hours. I found that Acer Mini Netbook might be able to stand for 9 hours. That's the great point I would like to point out.

3. Small adapter is a brilliant idea for travelers.

4. Pretty Nice design. Check this thing out. This power switch actually shines. It gives you a feel of elegance especially when its at night.

Disadvantage
1. Netbook are not suitable for gaming. Its a mini type. The interface is small.

2. Speakers for Toshiba NB200 is really small. It has only one speakers some more its at the bottom. Sometimes even cant hear the sound from movie. Sad case, but an ear phone will entertain you greatly.

3. No CD-ROM drive. So you might not be able to view the content of CD in case you need it.

I bought in Ipoh. So if KL or other places, I might not know.

You might wanna read this if you are struggling to register your course for the next semester.

Elective to select during final years
Strategic Management
If you focuses on self improvement in doing business, this subject is the best I can recommend. As engineer, we always give ourselves some option to return to the original. Its like leaving the back door open to escape in case of some emergency. Business is a great choice as its easy to achieve and as long as there is capital.
However, in order to score a point in Strategic Managgement, you need to spend a lot of time in it preparing stuff for a presentation, class discussion, tests, and assignments. Its like the other elective too but this one causes you to do more in coursework. Total coursework is 60%. I get a very low course work cos I was focusing more to my technical side (FYP & FYDP). So my course work this time really shows me not getting an A for this subject.

Culture Anthropology
My favorite subject of my university life. Why? lots of reason. First, because its Doc Mat. As some of you know, Doc Mat is just the ideal lecturer to mix around with students. He can be really relax in giving lecturer. No preparation before he came, but he can make the lectures really interesting. Even though zero interaction between lecturer and student. Probably the subject is Cultutal Anthropology which examines human past, human nature, and human society. All things that he teach, if you go to lecture, you don't even need to study for you final anymore. Because, all those he thought will be remembered fully in your brain throughout your life. His final exam is just some debate question where he asked about your personal opinion on how do you think on this and that. The projects do not have a due date. It depends on the student whether they want the marks or just leave it to god. During test, he can just gave the tests questions and walk out of the hall to smoke. His principle is, if you cheat, the consequences is on you. In final exams, that will cost you more than you know. I like his style of teaching. He wants student s to be real independent. He trust his students.
If I have the time and chance, I would just sit in his class whole day even I am not taking his subject anymore next semester.
He is just real different from the others. Hope to see him perform with his band on stage for Euphonious 2010 next year! Go Doc Mat! Your invisible guitar is on the way!

About the other elective, better ask around to compare. This might be valuable for you to adjust yourself towards the working environment later.

Majoring for Chemical Engineering Students
There are lots of majoring for Chemicals, but our University only recommended Five.
Process Plant Design is one of them. The others I dare not to comment, you better communicate with those seniors by yourself.

In process plant design, things you will learn inclusive of Heat Integration, Plant Utility System, and Process optimization.

Heat Integration
Its basically deals with Process Plant Design thought in earlier of the degree program. Mostly talks on heat exchange within Heat Exchanger, crossing and matching the lines that needed heat and needed to release heat. In FYDP, you will strongly need these aspects to be adapted in it. Heat integration helps in reduce operating and capital cost of the plant.

Plant Utility System
This topic actually relates to the one above. However, it will be more broad because of the term Utility System. Utility system is used by a plant to support its operation. Steam are being generated to supply heat, Works are needed from expansion for compression, Electricity supply in order to support the insufficient of work and so on so forth. All and all, everything about Utility in a plant exist here.

Process Optimization
Haven't take yet. Will update in other post once I understand the principle. But it mainly will talks about how to improve savings in a plant and what should do to increase the profit margin. As engineers always relates the technical side to the economy, so better have some economy side of knowledge before being an engineer.

Basically, major in which subject depends what your internship plant is based on. From my observation, most of the Upstream company interns are majoring PE while the others are scattered. Second from PE is Process plant. Then third is Process Control, followed by Petrochemicals lastly Environment. So for those who wanted or about to go for intern, make sure you target down what you wanna learn and major in future few years time.

Its good for human to plan 5 years ahead.

Final Exam is over!!!

Yea...After more than a months of fighting to survive, we all managed to survive at last! But become a panda based animal.
Before the final exam was all the presentations and preparation for completion of half a thesis.
That was not easy tho... I have both FYP and FYDP to counter at the same time.
But now finally its all over.

After all those hard work, we lack of revision in studies. The main problem is, no study week was allocated for this particular semester due to the H1N1 disease. All these causes most of the Chemical Student faint. Further worst case is, all the important subjects that need memories cramped together in the final exam timetable. how are we going to survive this? How are we going to manage our academics in such a short time.
But now finally its all over.

Couldn't sleep well for the past two weeks preparing for finals exam. This final exam of the semester can be considered as the mood-less, stressful, and tired final exam.
But now finally its all over.

All I can say is, disappointment concluded this semester.
Friendship management, Academic management, Emotional management, Project management, Time management, Daily routine management, and Financial management are the one that proves us, we are really and will be really well rounded after learning all these aspects in life.
But now, I proudly congratulates all Chemical Engineering Students with full of respect!

You all did a good job to survive!!

Laptop down!

All ATI Graphic Card user, Please be aware of a virus named ati2dvag. It has occur since 2007 or earlier. It attacks ur ATI Graphic Card drivers & causes you to have a blue screen telling you they are dumping your physical memories & a loop has been created in your system. It has grown severe nowadays. My lappie now is in the hospital.

A bad week. I need my laptop this coming Saturday (21 November 2009) night as I will stay overnight at LCCT for my flight back to my hometown. Now, without a laptop, I will need to figure out how to spend the whole night at LCCT. If anyone happens to be at LCCT, Malaysia, please inform me ASAP in order to spend the night together.

With that, I would not update my blog until my laptop is back by my side or when I reached home using my home desktop. If you would like to find me, please call or sms me.

Malaysian Studies

Malaysia is a nation who gains its independence on the 31 August 1957.

Before, independence, Malaya were being colonized by some western power such as British, Portugese, Dutch and so on. Until today, lots of their culture were being brought through till now.
After independence and before Sarawak, Singapore and Sabah joined Malaysia, Brunei was once struggle with her position whether to join, their negotiation with Malaysia Prime Minister went through several times.
At last, they concluded not to join Malaysia.
From analysis, Brunei's negotiation was not able to bridge mainly due to financial issue.
It is good to know our mistakes or the point of failure negotiation so that we can self realize on the importance of those aspect.
But is the self realize sufficient?

16 September 1963, Sarawak, Singapore & Sabah joined in.
However, sad to say, Singapore left after around 2 years due to racial issue.

As a Malaysian, we have seen the past, Singapore and Brunei, who left us has developed greatly in terms of economics, law, and country.
Malaysia?
Have we done enough to grow our country?
Is focusing on comfort zone really a good thing for us to compare with our sister country who has their independence around the same date as us?
We're not lacking behind lands?
We're not short of ManPower?
What else do we lack?

These are the questions for Malaysian to think. Self improvement from time to time, every moment and place just be brought into mind.
Of course not the improvement in term of how to create a crime (criminal nowadays are clever) but to improve in term of economics, social, and country development. As from one of my lecturer in my university, a big piece of mirror is really needed for Malaysians to see and look through themselves just to ask:

HAVE I DONE ENOUGH FOR THE COUNTRY?
CAN WE BE BETTER THAN OUR NEIGHBORING COUNTRIES?
WHAT SHOULD WE DO NEXT IN ORDER TO BE BETTER THAN OUR NEIGHBOR?
MALAYSIAN!!! WAKE UP AND LOOK AROUND!!
WE MUST BE ALERT WITH OUR SITUATION!!!

The reason I wrote all these are just because I am taking Malaysian Studies this semester and are about to go into the exam hall after reading the whole books of Malaysian Studies.

Movie Review - 2012

.... what else word can I use here?

Anyhow, that's the best movie I have ever watched in this year. As one of my friend, Kwong says, this movie might become "movie of the year 2009".

During this critical time where we have all the exams, tests, presentations (valid for Kwong only) and so on so forth, we still pull out our precious time for the movie. "Worth it" and "Never regret" is all the words from my friends that went and watched. At the same time, we found lots of "sacrifiers" like my group of friends too. Some juniors, seniors, senior and junior mixture (finger pointing) went to watch the movie around the time too.

Actually, we planned to get to the sneak preview of GSC but then all tickets were sold and all we can do is just wait for the second day and rush for the afternoon session. We've been notified that those two earlier noon show has been fully occupied. We only managed to get the 2.20pm.

The movie lasted for more than 2 hours and 40minutes. (luckily I peed and prepared before I get into the cinema, if not, I might need to lose some important exciting scene of my life)

Another great things in found is, another of my friend, Ajit (real name - Ajitpal Singh) has his name on the screen. Fabulous! Ajit isn't just any simple name and that is really coincide.

A scene that make me remember the most is "Engine,... Start!" The whole cinema was full with laughter and joy~

All I can say to the director and the team is, You are all great! Its a mixture of laughter, tears and lots of moral of stories as mentioned by another friend (Little Bro~Wong Ning).

GREAT JOB & WONDERFUL!

Here, my first post...for this month...quite late...cos due to all those academic works...

Presentations, tests, reports due date and so on..makes student in this university headache and lost their track on socialism and connections.

Now, most are all back on track. Presentations done, test left one, then final exams. After the finals, all will be free to do whatever they want. Friends that graduates soon will leave us in this dessert or so called "hell".

Kinda envy them but kinda not envy them also. The world outside isn't what we imagined. It is lots more crucial than we think. Stepping into the world with very few experience and knowledge is the lack of being a beginner. People might back stab us anytime anywhere without us know what is happening.

Final Year - Struggling

Final Year is ment for those who studied very hard previously and now its time to enjoy~

WHAT THE F8CK!!!!

This isn't things I expected in Final Year of my degree.

Its more terrible than I can imagine. I will need to submit 2 thick report or 2 sets of so called

"half a thesis"

next monday.

The due date is not a problem. The problem is:

1. The tasks are a lot and yet the time is so little

2. The internet connection is really sucks here

3. There are too many things for a 2 credit hours stuff

4. I think the academic unit should review their equivalent of credit hours for each course.

Imagine, a final year student:

do not have time to nap for even 15 minutes in the afternoon,

do not have time to have is lunch during the afternoon,

do not have his own private life like date or movie,

do not have its own FREEDOM!!!!

Its more or less like a prison. The superior is giving task like they never give before.

This is all mess up now. There are due dates to fetch and there are presentation to be prepared.

All in one, there's only one word to describe all these.

SHIT!!!!

As we all know, 5th August is the big day for a 10.0 billion new fund release.

But why until today, there is only little portion of fund being purchased?

1. Unclear information

First things in investment, for most people is whether the capital is being protected or guaranteed or will it fluctuates?

Losing money is very important to certain people. Not all Malaysian are from rich background or earn a lot from our daily life.

The blog below is an example of people went to the bank and at last being told of the below statement:

"Its not a capital protected fund."

Someone just invested RM10.00 to "test water" and some even "chicken out" after hearing the news that its not capital guaranteed.

It strikes American Samoa Island (8,3 magnitude) & Sumatra of Indonesia (7.6 magnitude) today!!!

Be aware of these as my batchmates do feel the projector shaking.

I mean two of my friends in different class at the same time saw it!!!

What is happening to the world now??

Lets analyze.

First thing, American Samoa Island is somewhere far from Sumatra.

Check out the world map.

Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia is around the middle of both quakes.

So what are you thinking now?

Second thing, its not normal earthquake, the magnitude has rise to 7.6 and 8.3.

Its the scarier ones.

Now, lets leave the analyze part to the expert and professionals and we as normal human being lets don't analyze further...Why not think of something better?

Retiree Suffering

Last few weeks, I've came across some local newspapers about money and retirement. There is statistic showing that over the last few decades, retirees are facing problems regarding finance after they retired.

There are lots of reasons for it. Let's see...

Firstly, our children's education.

By the time we retire, we probably had already sent our children to university or college. As we all know, universities or colleges education fees aren't cheap. This may include the tuition fees, accommodations, transport, food and social, etc...

If you are Malaysian, you might think of the Employees Provident Fund (EPF or KWSP). Before proceeding to EPF, one must fully understand the situation in EPF. Is the amount sufficient to cater the need of your child? Or do you realize that you have more than a child to send to college or university? Or are you planning to send only ONE?

EPF might only enough for a child's education. Beware on that because it depends on your monthly salary. How about the second child? Own funding? Part time learner? Or would you want them to suffer by applying loan which in the future they might be struggling to repay the loan? How would they be able to feed retiree if they have a debt to pay?

Lets say if by that time, your money is enough for both children, and for sure not enough for your own retirement? Retirees have to plant their own paddy and rear their own goats by that time? Are you kidding me???

A big portion of money will be spent on these youngsters in their education and as a retiree; we can only hope for them to feed us after that.

Now, does this policy of younger generation feeding elder generations work?

Lots of graduates couldn't even feed themselves after graduated due to lots of unseen reason like economics, job vacancies, result and so on.

So after this amount of money paying out to the children, do we still have enough money to live our own life or we still need to struggle for money even until the last day of our life?

Secondly, do not have a proper and feasible and applicable financial planning.

Wait a minute, why feasible? As according to some experts, emergency money should equals to a total of six months’ salary of a person. Example, Mr. A is having a paid job of RM 1,000.00. This means, he should have RM 6,000.00 in account to be very liquid (able to withdraw anytime) in case of emergency. Emergency can include surgery fees, emergency forgotten debt that dues, accidents and etc.

So how does financial planning works. If we plan from young what advantage and disadvantage we’ll have? Lets see…

From the advantage, we’ll be able to declare full financial freedom by shopping around and at the same time sending our children to universities and colleges overseas even during economic recessions. By that time, people will look at you as a rich guy and robbery case might increase because of you. Haha..funny.

The only disadvantage is we’ll need to do our so called “homework” everyday and months by reviewing the plan and target and at the same time controlling our expenditure.

Thirdly, do not comply with financial planning as planned.

Plan is there. But if we do not comply with it, its equals to no plan.

Fourthly, debt avoidance.

You might envy why certain people with average salary could drive branded cars or buy expensive bungalows. Do not panic, do not worry. The most importantly, do not feel guilty of not able to provide your wife the same thing. Why? Why? And Why?

Its very simple, they might have lots of debt around their waist (hutang keliling pinggang – in Malay Language). Why is it not good to have debts? Debt will cause you extra with the interest rate. Example, a car you bought at RM 50,000.00, might cost you RM 60,000.00 after you fully pay all the installment plus interest. Be reminded of that you will still poor but having a branded car and bungalow only but nothing else. Other might have waited and pay RM 50,000.00 only and use the extra RM 10,000.00 to invest in other things.

Fifthly. There are reasons for not planning out a finance plan.

People thought they do not have income or very little income or not enough money to plan for in their life.

Do you think only people with income needs to plan financially? If you think so, you are totally, absolutely and definitely WRONG!!!! Again, why? Rich people, they probably do not need to plan anymore as they have already reached financial freedom to buy anything they want. If we are short of money, we have to be extremely extra careful of that portion money already. Am I right? We wouldn’t want to lose that portion of money for something worthless. So as small conclusion, don’t ever give excuse for not to plan your finance. Even your income is only RM 2.00 per day.

So as overall conclusion my dear friends, since we’re still young, why don’t spend less and plan for your future starting right now?

PHUKET ISLAND!!!

Here I Come!!!!

Currently doing research on Phuket.

Will be having a trip to Phuket with my dear love.

Research done currently is staying in an 5 Star hotel with a very cheap price. Will be staying around Patong Beach which is nearer to beach and town at the same time.

Transportation:

Of course mostly will be "tut-tut" or renting a car. Need a GPS system if possible in case of missing in the middle of Phuket town. haha...

Food:

Heard that their "char kueh tiao" there quite nice. But must be the roadside one. haha...

Finally, Ferrari got their Number 1 since last season.

Wait a minute!!!!!

Number 1 from the front and behind. Great race to Kimi and Badoer!

Second, Fischiella. He's great today too. Best race ever for Force India.

Third, Vettel. Nice drive in the RedBull.

Forth and Fifth are those BMWs.

Rubens, luckily survived the points with smoke from the Brawn and fire after that.

Renaults, poor day. Both out of the race.

So are for both great drivers, Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button. Both scratching heads at the side of the field discussing and might be wondering what had happened.

So with this brief conclusion, kindly follow up next week race.

I tried to sleep at 3am last night.

At 4am, I woke up due to the mosquitoes.

Silly bustard!!!

I switched on the repellent (electric) but its useless. Its sucking my blood out liter by liter.

There's nothing I can do. Now switch on the lamp (mosquitoes likes dark).

Then till the morning, no more mosquitoes!!!

How to counter this problem??

I cant just switch on the lamp whole night continuously like that??
